Are you in your thirties, forties or beyond, work a full-time job but still manage to squeeze in a training session here and there? Do you have bills to pay, kids to drop off at school, but still put on the heat on the mat? Are the only times you think of hanging up your gloves are when you hang them to dry after a long, grueling training session? Are you interested in MMA, not just as a competitive sport, but as a lifestyle?
If you answered “yes” to any of these questions above, welcome to the growing club of MMA practitioners who live in the real world but still try stay on top of their game. You’re in luck. MMA for the Working Man (MFTWM) is an online magazine written for mma and martial arts practitioners with full-time jobs. MFTWM is owned and edited by a former MMA fighter and Judo champion, who, like you, is a stable family man with a full-time job.
Don’t let em’ YCP‘s get an undeserved one-up on you. It’s all about training intelligently and efficiently, making the very best use of your time – valuable time which you could have otherwise spent building your career at work or spending quality time with the family. If you’re one of us, hop on board – this website was made just for you. This site is for those who have made MMA a lifetime commitment.
Hi, I have a question..as a boxing student going into MMA, I wanna understand if there re lets say 10 basic drills that cover lets say 90% of the grappling and wrestling against any opponent, if yes, what are these important most fundamentals ?
I try to figure that out, also plan to create a speech for my university regarding sports class..
Thanks alot,
Tommy
